Ultrasonic Liposuction: Eliminating The Fat

Are you tired of dieting and exercising all the time and not losing all that fat? There is a new form of liposuction that might just be the answers to your prayers. Ultrasonic liposuction, UAL, is the newest method available. It is much safer and less invasive as the traditional liposuction. The UAL method can help eliminate the remainder of that fat that you can not get rid of because of hitting that exercise and diet plateau.

Ultrasonic liposuction, also known as UAL, was just introduced in the United States in 1997. It was introduced in Europe back in 1990. It is more desirable than the regular liposuction because it has proven to be far safer and a much less invasive method of removing fat deposits. The secret behind the UAL method is the melting of fat into a liquid, which is done through high frequency ultrasonic vibrations. UAL can be used in several different ways allowing for optimum fat reduction.

The UAL method is much safer and less invasive than the traditional liposuction. You do not run the risk of puncturing other organs, tearing tissue or damaging nerves. It is also possible to do this particular method without having any incisions at all. If you are not getting rid of a lot of fat the ultrasonic vibrations can be used to break up the fat and transform it into a liquefied state and the body can dispose of it naturally. The only stipulation is the body can only process so much fat before it could become harmful. Keeping all this in mind, discussing your options with the doctor would be wise.

If you combine UAL and traditional liposuction, a larger portion of fat can be treated along with those hard to reach spot not treatable easily by just traditional liposuction. With the use of a cannel, which is a small metal vacuum tube, once the fat is liquefied it can be sucked right out of the body with minimal incisions. There is also less risk of damage or harm to other internal parts. The UAL method alone and combined with traditional lipo suction has become the most desirable means of cosmetic fat removal.

There are still risks associated with UAL; however, there are fewer than with traditional lipo. Regular lipo tends to leave bruising and swelling as a side effect, these side effects are virtually eliminated with the UAL method. Other risk such as damage to internal body parts is also a high risk with traditional lipo; these risks are lessened when using the UAL method. UAL is not without its own risk. UAL if not performed properly or by someone experienced could cause burns to the body.

The key to successful ultrasonic liposuction is having someone who is trained in that particular form of cosmetic sculpting to perform the procedure. Just because someone is a cosmetic doctor does not mean they are versed in all the methods. With the UAL method you are melting the fat which means you are heating it so the molecules separate. You may not feel the effects of these ultrasonic burns immediately but they are possible if the procedure is done improperly.

You are probably wondering how burns could be a side effect or risk. Well, think about it; to liquefy a solid you must disrupt the composition of the solid by heating it. This is exactly what the ultrasound waves are doing melting the fat by using a high frequency to disrupt the molecules; therefore if improperly used burns or blisters could appear. With the traditional method of lipo there is no risk of burning or blistering; however, there are high risks of severe bruising and swelling.

Ultrasonic liposuction is a great means of getting rid of that pesky hard to remove fat deposits. You just need to make sure you determine which method is best for you and if you are eligible for the noninvasive UAL or if the combination would allow you better results. Do not get down and think there is no hope because there is and like everything else, cosmetic surgery and procedures are progressively developing.
